Do the people following me need an app?
No. Only you broadcast, from the Android app. The people you share with just open a link in any browser — no install, no account. Life360 has a browser link too, for up to a day; a Greenalp link keeps working for the whole trip, however long it runs.
Can I use Greenalp for just one trip?
Yes. Send a link for a single hike or journey — there's no permanent circle to set up. You can also keep friend groups if you want ongoing sharing.
Can I embed the map on my website?
Yes — with one iframe. That's something Life360 doesn't offer. How it works is on the embedding page.
Is Greenalp free?
Core live location sharing is free. Some extras (website embedding, Google-Maps credits, track loading) are Premium add-ons.
