Greenalp vs Glympse.
Both share your live location as a link anyone can open in a browser. Glympse is built for a short, timed share of up to 12 hours, with an ETA to where you're going. Greenalp is built for the whole trip: a link that lasts as long as the journey, a route you can replay, and a live map on your own website.

Honestly
Which one fits you?
Pick Greenalp
When the trip runs longer than an afternoon: one link that lasts the whole journey, a recorded route to replay, alerts by email or SMS, and a live map you can embed on your own site — without a developer tool.
Pick Glympse
When you want a short, timed share with an ETA to where you're going — from an iPhone or an Android phone.
Good to know
Questions, answered.
Isn't Glympse the same thing?
For a short share, much the same: both send a link that opens in any browser, with no app for the viewer. The difference is length and what's left afterwards. A Glympse runs for up to 12 hours; a Greenalp link can last the whole trip, the route can be replayed and downloaded, and the map can sit on your website.
How quickly can I send a link?
Add Greenalp's Quick Link tile to your Quick Settings once. From inside any chat, swipe down, tap, and paste a link that runs for 1, 4 or 8 hours — in WhatsApp, Signal, an SMS or an email.
Can I embed the map on my website?
Yes — with one iframe, no developer tool. How it works is on the embedding page.
Is Greenalp free?
Core live location sharing is free. Some extras (website embedding, Google-Maps credits, track loading) are Premium add-ons.
