Do my friends need an app or an account to follow along?
No. They open your link in any browser — phone or computer. Only you need the Android app to broadcast.
Will they see my whole journey, not just where I am now?
Live, the map shows your position and the route drawing in behind you — more than just where you are now. To keep and replay the whole journey afterwards — start to finish — add Track Loading (Premium).
Can I also put the live map on my own blog or website?
Yes. You get an embed snippet that drops the live map straight into your page, so visitors watch inside your post. Embedding (Website Framing) is a Premium add-on — the link on its own is always free. If putting it on your own site is the main goal, see the embedding page.
Is it free?
Core live sharing by link is free. Embedding on your site, plus extras like Google-Maps credits or Track Loading, are Premium add-ons.
