Let them follow your passage, live.
Share your position at sea in real time. Family and friends ashore watch your progress right in their browser — no app for them to install — and your live track draws on the map behind you as you go. You broadcast from the Android app.
Free on Android. 500,000+ installs on Google Play.
Why sailors use it
Made for the water.
Everything you want on a passage — and nothing the people ashore need to install to follow along.
No app for them
Send one link. Family ashore follow your live position at sea in any browser — no app, no sign-up.
Sail as a fleet
Add your buddy boats or crew once and see each other on the map — handy on a flotilla or when the fleet spreads out.
Your track builds up live
As you sail, the map draws your path behind you — followers watch the passage take shape, not just a lone dot.
How it works
On the map before you slip the lines.
No setup marathon. Install, start, share — then sail.
Grab the app
Install Real-Time GPS Tracker 2 from Google Play. It's free.
Press start
Pick a name and tap start. You're on the map right away, and your track records as you sail.
Send the link
Share one link with family or your crew. They watch you cross the water live, with your track drawing behind you.
Good to know
Sailing questions, answered.
Do the people following my passage need an app?
No. They open your link in any browser — phone or computer. Only you need the Android app to broadcast your position.
What happens when I'm out of mobile range offshore?
Your position updates whenever your phone has a data connection. Sail beyond coverage and live updates pause, then resume when you're back in range. Keeping the complete passage — so the offshore stretch isn't lost and can be replayed later — is what the Track Loading add-on does (Premium); live sharing on its own stays free.
Can they see my whole passage?
Live, they see your position and the path drawing behind you. To keep and replay the complete passage afterwards — start to finish — add Track Loading (Premium). The live link itself is free.
Is it free?
Core live sharing is free. Extras — like Track Loading to keep the whole voyage, embedding the map on a race or expedition site, or Google-Maps credits — are Premium add-ons.
