have problem trying to download my gps location to my blog so family can follow our travels. Any procedures to explain.

Would really download your data on your computer? You need the "Track Loading" feature. Alternatively as a much easier, you could put a link on your blog pointing to your guest url. Last but not least you could embed the map on your blog.
