Posting a forum reply with a bbcode doesn't work

Hello, this is not about the app, but about this forum issue
When I try to post a reply that has a quotation, or formatting like BOLD etc, it doesn't work. An error message is displayed, saying that "post is too short" or "has not enough characters" or something like that, and the reply is not posted.

Thank you for reporting. The problem here is that this forum software is not compatible with the Greenalp server infrastructure anymore. The forum maintainer is planning to release an upgrade but I do not know when this will happen. So I'm afraid this problem will not be solved shortly, but maybe in a few weeks/months.
